Live Accelerometer Graph
Real-time X/Y/Z acceleration plot in m/s². Detect gravity, tilt, and shake intensity with a rolling 240-sample buffer.
This test needs access to your device's accelerometer, gyroscope, and orientation sensors. Tap below and allow the browser prompt.
Visualize your device's motion sensors in real time. Plot accelerometer and gyroscope data, see a live 3D orientation model, run shake and tilt accuracy tests, and check your compass calibration — all in your browser.
Shake your device — the meter below tracks peaks and detects shakes. Each spike registers as a shake event.
Lay your device flat on a level surface. The bubble should center and read near 0° pitch and roll.
Slowly rotate the device in a figure-8. The heading should respond smoothly and settle on a stable value.
A full laboratory for your phone's inertial sensors — right in the browser.
Real-time X/Y/Z acceleration plot in m/s². Detect gravity, tilt, and shake intensity with a rolling 240-sample buffer.
Real-time alpha/beta/gamma rotation-rate graph in °/s. Track angular velocity on all three axes.
A live 3D device cube that mimics your phone's real orientation using alpha, beta, and gamma angles.
A real-time shake meter that counts discrete shake events, tracks peak acceleration and RMS, and gives an accuracy verdict.
A digital bubble level with pitch, roll, and total-tilt readouts. Confirms whether your accelerometer is level-calibrated.
Live compass rose with heading, cardinal direction, and accuracy indicator. Guides you through figure-8 calibration.
No app, no sign-up — just accurate sensor data in your browser.
Tap "Enable Sensors" and allow the browser permission prompt. This unlocks accelerometer, gyroscope, and orientation data.
Tilt, rotate, and move your device to see the accelerometer and gyroscope graphs respond in real time.
Open the Shake, Tilt, or Compass test panels. Each provides live feedback and an accuracy verdict.
Check the sensor availability panel and the verdicts to confirm your device's sensors are functioning and calibrated.
Everything you need to know about testing your device's motion sensors.
Open this page on your phone, tap "Enable Sensors", and allow motion access when prompted. The real-time graphs will start plotting accelerometer and gyroscope data as you move, tilt, or shake your device. Use the shake and tilt tests to verify accuracy, and the compass calibration check to confirm heading.
Most browsers require explicit permission for motion sensors on non-secure origins or newer iOS versions. Make sure you are on HTTPS, tap "Enable Sensors", and grant the permission prompt. Some desktop browsers without motion hardware will not produce data — that is normal.
The accelerometer measures linear acceleration including gravity, so it can detect tilt and shake. The gyroscope measures the rate of rotation around each axis, so it tracks angular velocity. Together they enable full motion tracking. This suite shows both graphs live.
Place the device on a flat, level surface and check the tilt readout. If it does not show roughly 0° on pitch and roll, move the phone in a figure-8 pattern several times. For the compass, rotate the phone slowly around each axis. Then re-open the tilt test to verify the calibration.
